What BeeKeepPal offers

Where the two products differ
Free tier size. Two hives is enough to evaluate the app; ten (ours) is enough to actually run a starter apiary on the free plan, with a daily AI allowance included. If you want to keep real records at $0, this is a large practical difference.
The selling side. As of our August 2026 review of its published features, BeeKeepPal does not offer a sales pipeline: no bottling runs, no inventory, no sales or customer records. HiveMind AI runs the honey business end-to-end, from hive inspections through harvest batches and bottling to inventory, sales, customers, and expenses.
Teams. BeeKeepPal's Pro Team gives you 4 seats at $9.99/month, and if seat count per dollar is your measure, that is a good number. On HiveMind AI, team access starts on Pro (3 members, $7.99/month) and each member signs in as themselves with a real role: owner or worker, plus job functions like bookkeeper, and members can be deactivated without deleting their history. Whether BeeKeepPal's seats carry per-member permissions is not something its public pages state, so we cannot compare that half and will not guess.
What the AI is grounded in. Both products lead with AI. Ours answers from your own records, hives through sales, and every plan includes a daily allowance, Free included; on Business ($18.99/month) there is no daily AI limit.

When to choose BeeKeepPal instead
Choose BeeKeepPal if you want four seats on an unlimited hive log for under $10 a month and you do not need per-member roles or selling records, or if its particular AI and weather features fit how you work. For a small club or family that just wants shared logging at the lowest sticker price, it is a reasonable pick.
